There were 5 girls, owning horses or ponies, developing their competitive career in riding in the beginner´s classes. The special thing was, that they went altogether to the shows. So their parents knew they would not be alone there and there would be somenone who speaks a language besides “horsish”. And above all, it was possible for me to turn things into the right directions, organize everything and just care for any problems if they were all on the same showground.

In fact – in the beginning of a sports career – it might be helpful to have anybody there who knows how to play the game. Very often, it might be the horse who knows how it should be done. Even then – I could take care of the rest. The parents are usually no riding instructors, but willing to support the children and spend their weekends on horse shows. So if there is anybody to tell them when and how they should go where – it might be possible that they arrive there on time, well equipped and also have a horse with them(!) – in good mood hopefully. A physical presence in the sports event  makes success more likely, it might even be necessary to win a ribbon.

So, for all these reasons – and many more – I give a time schedule with suggestions for the show season in the beginning of the season. The team members can join this shows or not, but they would not be alone there. I would not say that competing is the key to happiness, but it might not be a boring day. You can spend lots of money for ribbons you could buy for a few Euros. But otherwise the money would cover the floor at home. So you can spend it with competing in dressage and it´s for sure the pony eats it all, sorted by a SuperMegaGigaSports-Muesli for chubby Showponies. 

So the  dressurteam hennijesch  developed and a sport of individuals became some kind of teamparty. In the ring – everybody has to deal on his own – besides the arena, they are not alone!
